Nautilus and our Platform

March 8, 2024
To enable deep biological insights, it is crucial that a next-generation proteomics platform have a dynamic range matching the scale of the proteome. Why? Protein abundances can span over 10 orders of magnitude, and both high and low abundance proteins have important impacts on biology. For instance, a low abundance, but up-regulated transcription factor can drastically alter cell fate, while a high abundance surface protein may make a good target for a cancer therapeutic. Knowing this, we designed the Nautilus TM Proteome Analysis Platform with a dynamic range matching the scale of the proteome. Check out the video above to learn how our massive, single-molecule protein arrays and novel protein preparation techniques are designed to enable unprecedented proteome coverage.
