In alignment with National Volunteer Month, HCA Healthcare colleagues across the country donated their time and expertise to help improve the health and well-being of the communities the company serves.

This year, the initiative resulted in:
• 1,866 nonprofits supported across the nation
• 9,790 colleagues who volunteered to meet local needs

Headquartered in Middle Tennessee, HCA Healthcare is deeply rooted in the region and committed to supporting the communities it serves. In Nashville, nearly 3,000 HCA Healthcare colleagues participated in volunteer activities across the city, resulting in nearly 13,500 volunteer hours served. Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee was among the 475 local nonprofit organizations supported through these efforts. HCA Healthcare colleagues packed more than 3,000 weekend snack bags for Metro Nashville Public Schools students and mobilized 180 volunteers to support operations in the organization’s warehouse.
In total for 2025, HCA Healthcare colleagues volunteered over 350,000 hours, and over 10,000 charitable organizations were supported through donations and volunteering across the country. Additionally, more than 1,300 colleagues served on a nonprofit board. Locally in Nashville, the HCA Healthcare Foundation’s Middle Tennessee Fund also awarded more than $8.3 million in grants to 227 nonprofit agencies focused on helping communities in the areas of health and well-being, basic needs and education.
