development programs focusing on a variety of chronic organ diseases, today announced the appointment of Ping Zhang to its Board of Directors (the "Board") as the lead independent director of the Board and a member of the Nominating and Corporate
Governance Committee of the Board. In addition, Ying Luo, Ph.D. resigned as Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors of Gyre and Gyre Pharmaceuticals, Gyre's majority indirectly owned subsidiary in the People's Republic of China ("PRC"), to focus on other responsibilities at GNI Group Ltd. Songjiang Ma has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gyre Pharmaceuticals.
