Valneva Hosted at the Residence of the French Ambassador to the United States

In February 2024, Valneva was honored to be hosted by His Excellency Laurent Bili, Ambassador of France to the United States, at the Résidence de France in Washington, DC.
Through public-private investment, global health partners address neglected tropical diseases, including vector-borne emerging pathogens like chikungunya virus. In honor of France’s advancement of its global health strategy and recognizing success stories in innovation and equitable access, the Ambassador hosted Valneva and other invited guests including representatives from:
• CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations)
• The Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy
• The National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases
• The Joint Program Executive Office of DoD
• Members of the United States Congress
The evening event celebrated how public-private partnerships address global health needs, most notably those related to neglected tropical diseases like chikungunya.
For Valneva, Chief Commercial Officer Dipal Patel and Chief Business Officer Franck Grimaud delivered prepared remarks at the soirée.
Valneva is pleased to participate in events that raise awareness of and celebrate progress in addressing domestic and global risks from emerging pathogens.
