Valneva France Highlights Travel Medicine at the SMV Congress

April marks the start of our French medical and commercial colleagues’ conference season, with the SMV Congress in Paris at the beginning of the month.
The SMV Congress brought together 130 participants representing travel health clinics from around the country. Valneva France had two exposition spaces at the event: a medical stand to handle questions about chikungunya and a commercial stand providing information about our products that are currently available in France.
In addition to the stands, Valneva organized presentations related to chikungunya delivered by doctors, including:
• “Which vaccines for Latin America? Old and New” by Dr. Oula Itani, which ended with a special mention of a promising vaccine in development in Brazil, and
• “Travel Health News. Reminder: Risks of arboviral emergence and reinforcement of health monitoring around the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games” by Dr. Arnaud Tarantola.
