I am thrilled to be joining the team! My role involves working with campus, supporting our student programs, and working very closely with our talent acquisition team to make sure that we are investing in students and they’re having the best possible experience at our clinics.
The field of physical therapy is being transformed by technology. Today’s physical therapy students can’t help but use technology throughout various aspects of their programs. Whether it’s learning to prescribe home exercises, whether it’s using telemedicine to assess a patient, or whether it’s using gait analysis techniques that are no longer just relying on your eyeballs. Today’s students are so fortunate that engineers and smart scientists are developing technologies they can use throughout various aspects of their practice. This is a transformative time in physical therapy training and education, and technology is highly to thank for that.
We’re very excited for physical therapy students to join our organization because they will have the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of techniques, lots of different opportunities for learning, and lots of environments where they can go and get experience treating different types of patients.
