Israel to transition to advisor role, continue as Board member
Israel, July 14, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Purple Biotech Ltd. ("Purple Biotech", or the "Company") (NASDAQ/TASE:
PPBT), a clinical-stage company focused on developing first-in-class, effective and durable therapies by harnessing the power of the
tumor microenvironment to overcome tumor immune evasion and drug resistance, today announced that following the decision by Isaac Israel,
former Chief Executive Officer to step down from his CEO role and reduce the scope of his engagement with the Company for personal reasons,
effective July 10, 2022, Gil Efron, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. Isaac Israel will continue his involvement in the
Company as an advisor and as a member of the Board of Directors.
