Results for the Year Ended December 31, 2016
and development expenses for the year ended December 31, 2016 were $4.2 million, an increase of $1.6 million, or 63%, compared
to $2.6 million for the year ended December 31, 2015. The increase resulted primarily from expenses for an additional PK study
we conducted in 2016, expenses associated with the preparation of our New Drug Application for KIT-302, and expenses for our renal
function clinical trial that commenced in 2016.
