Results of First Warrant Expiry Date Acceleration Program
CALGARY, AB - October 26, 2009 -
Oncolytics Biotech Inc. ("Oncolytics" or the "Corporation") (TSX:ONC;
NASDAQ:ONCY) announces, that pursuant to the provision of written notification
on September 23, 2009, of the accelerated expiry of those warrants issued on
December 5, 2008, and those warrants amended December 18, 2008, the Corporation
has received proceeds of approximately $5.8 million resulting from the exercise
of all 3,235,000 warrants.
