Moleculin Announces Proposed
Underwritten Public Offering
HOUSTON - March 26, 2019 -
Moleculin Biotech, Inc., (Nasdaq: MBRX) ("Moleculin" or the "Company"), a clinical stage pharmaceutical company
with a broad portfolio of drug candidates targeting highly resistant tumors, today announced that it intends to offer and sell
units consisting of shares of common stock and warrants in an underwritten public offering. All units in the offering will be sold
by Moleculin. The proposed offering is subject to market and other conditions. There can be no assurance as to whether or when
the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.
Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is acting
as the sole book-running manager for the proposed offering.
The Company intends to use the net
proceeds of the offering to fund its planned clinical trials, preclinical programs, for other research and development activities
and for general corporate purposes.
The securities described above are
