RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA, AUGUST 4, 2025—Lumexa Imaging, one of the nation’s largest providers of outpatient imaging services, today announced Dr. Russell Stewart, MD, MBA, MS as its new Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Stewart joins Lumexa Imaging as a practicing, board-certified musculoskeletal radiologist and healthcare executive with a unique background spanning clinical radiology, AI-driven innovation, and quality improvement.
Most recently, Dr. Stewart served as Chief Clinical Officer at Covera Health, where he led initiatives using advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence to redefine and improve care quality. He has also held executive roles at Nines, a Silicon Valley radiology AI company, where he guided regulatory strategy and led successful FDA clearances for machine learning-based diagnostic tools.
