Strengthens Patent Portfolio with Issuance of Three U.S. Patents
August 21, 2024 - InMed Pharmaceuticals Inc. ("InMed" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: INM), a pharmaceutical
company focused on developing a pipeline of proprietary small molecule drug candidates for diseases with high unmet medical needs, today
announced it has been issued three U.S. patents: one for its formulation and method of use in the treatment of epidermolysis bullosa and
related connective tissue disorders, one for biosynthesis manufacturing processes and one for an ocular drug delivery formulation.
The method of use patent,
entitled "Use of topical formulations of cannabinoids in the treatment of epidermolysis bullosa and related connective tissue disorders"
relates to INM-755 drug candidate which has completed a Phase 2 clinical trial in the treatment of symptoms related to epidermolysis bullosa.
The patent has now been granted in the U.S., Australia, Japan and Israel and is pending in several other jurisdictions. The biosynthesis
patent for the manufacturing of proprietary analogs for our drug development programs has been granted in U.S. Additionally, an ocular
drug delivery formulation and use patent has been granted/allowed in the U.S., Europe, Australia, Japan, and India and is also pending
