Summary

Under the general direction of the Marketing lead, the Digital Marketing & Development Specialist is responsible for supporting digital marketing strategies, developing and managing all aspects of events marketing strategy. This role will focus on creating, implementing, tracking and optimizing experiential marketing opportunities (events, tradeshow, webinars) across various marketing channels. This position requires strong communication skills and strong attention to detail, with experience in B2B and direct to consumer. This is a coordinator/specialist level position which requires working on a variety of projects under minimal supervision. The position involves not only planning and implementation of programs and events but also taking part in creating new programs as the department grows and develops with the needs of the company. This role requires fluency with company-approved AI applications (including Lovable, Claude, and Claude CoWork) to accelerate strategy development, content creation, and campaign execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, develops and distributes printed and electronic content to support external marketing and/or internal communication strategies and plans.
• Peer reviews that all written marketing communications use correct syntax and are free of spelling or grammatical errors.
• Consistently follows brand and style guidelines.
• Ensures all social media content is preplanned and published according to the social media marketing calendar.
• Creates and distributes timely advertisement/sponsor materials for attending vendor exhibitions while adhering to ad schedules.
• Coordinates the planning, scheduling, and promoting of on-site employee events, including, but not limited to, set-up/tear down, food and beverages, event registration, promotional items, display units, and execution.
• Conducts market research to identify market trends, competitor offerings and demographic data for experiential marketing and online event opportunities.
• Makes recommendations for the distribution and creation of collateral materials with the intention of increasing marketing objectives among target customers and clients.
• Leverage company-approved AI tools to develop, test, and iterate marketing strategies across digital channels.
• Lead digital product launches end-to-end, including pre-launch positioning, go-to-market sequencing, and post-launch optimization.
• Develop and maintain digital training materials and onboarding assets using AI-assisted content tools.
• Design and execute inbound traffic strategies (SEO, content marketing, paid digital, social) informed by AI-generated insights.
• Quarterback cross-functional marketing initiatives, coordinating stakeholders from concept through reporting.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications, event management, or related field a plus.
• 5+ years of digital marketing experience, with event marketing as a component.
• Substantial portfolio of successfully managed events.
• Superb time management and communication skills.
• Sales skills and an aptitude for building productive business relationships.
