HCSG Strikes a High Note at FNCE 2025 in Nashville

When you hear Nashville, Tennessee, cowboy boots, bachelorette parties, and country music might come to mind. However, for the HCSG Clinical Nutrition team, Nashville was home to the RD/DTR annual Super Bowl, more formally known as the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Annual Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo (FNCE 2025).
For those unfamiliar, FNCE is the world’s largest gathering of food and nutrition experts, hosted by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Every year, thousands of RDs, researchers, and innovators come together in a popular U.S. destination to share what’s new in nutrition science and interact with their professional peers.
Hot topics included GLP-1 conversations, which were as prevalent as they are on TikTok, and the topic is not going anywhere anytime soon. Close to my heart, technology and AI came up at every turn! It seems that in the dietitian and diet tech world, it’s time to embrace new tech trends rather than avoid them. Protein everything was also a popular topic in both the educational sessions and the expo this year.
Many HCSG team members attended, taking the opportunity to learn and sharpen their dietitian pencils, and as a company, we participated in the expo. If you weren’t there, you truly missed out on the plethora of options within the HCSG Booth! We offered attendees complimentary headshots, bottled water, and swag. Our team also met with potential candidates for on-the-spot interviews and even had a Fitbit giveaway to attendees who engaged with our HCSG Ambassadors. I saved the best news for last: the team also accepted donations for trendy food-pun bags, which not only increased awareness of the HCSG Going Beyond Assistance Fund but also ultimately raised over $4,200 for the fund! Those funds will be used to help team members experiencing hardship and difficult life events, hopefully lessening their burden.
Our clinical nutrition team left FNCE 2025 re-energized and excited for the future of nutrition in the profession and our industry. HCSG is committed to implementing continued evidence-based practices and hiring top-tier RDs and DTRs for our team. I encourage you to learn more about our RD services in long-term care at HCSG.com/nutrition or how you can be a part of our amazing team at RD.Careers .
That’s a wrap until next year—we’ll see you in San Antonio!
