(NASDAQ:GALT), the leading developer of therapeutics that target galectin proteins, announced today that the Company will present a corporate update via live webcast immediately following the business portion of its 2017 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. Peter Traber, M.D., president, chief executive officer and chief medical officer, will put the recent positive NASH-CX trial results in perspective for treating patients with NASH cirrhosis who currently have no therapies available.
