Key Responsibilities
• Lead mechanical design of disposable components including enteral feeding tubes, guidewires, and connectors.
• Lead mechanical design of ENvue’s capital bedside system including architecture, packaging, and structural integrity.
• Conduct tolerance analysis, material compatibility studies, and failure investigations.
• Drive full development cycles: concept, prototyping, V&V, pilot production, and design transfer.
• Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, QA, operations, and external suppliers.
Qualifications
• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in medical device development spanning disposables and capital/electromechanical systems.
Preferred Experience
Class II medical devices, EMC/thermal integration, extrusion processes, and catheter/guidewire assembly.
Personal Attributes
Hands-on, accountable, and comfortable owning complex projects in a resource-conscious environment.
