NATICK, Mass. , March 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE: BSX ) today announced its clinical trial news and events schedule at the 60th Annual Scientific Session of the American College of Cardiology/i2 Summit, April 2-5, 2011 in New Orleans .
"Twelve-month results from the PLATINUM Workhorse clinical trial will provide important data on our next-generation PROMUS Element™ Everolimus-Eluting Platinum Chromium (PtCr) Stent as compared to our market-leading PROMUS® Stent," said Keith D. Dawkins , M.D., Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Boston Scientific's Cardiology, Rhythm and Vascular (CRV) Group. "Additional analysis from the PERSEUS trial will further demonstrate differences in the PtCr platform compared to prior-generation stents."
