ASTROTECH CORPORATION REGAINS NASDAQ COMPLIANCE
Texas, June 24, 2009 Astrotech Corporation
(NASDAQ: ASTC) announced today that the Company received notice on June 18, 2009 from The NASDAQ
Stock Market ( NASDAQ ) confirming that
it has regained compliance with the minimum bid price rule for continued
listing. NASDAQ confirmed that the
closing bid price of the Company s common stock has been at $1.00 per share or
greater for at least 10 consecutive trading days. As a result, the Company is currently in
compliance with all continued listing standards.
The Company previously
received a written notification from
NASDAQ on April 7, 2008, indicating that the minimum bid price of
the Company s common stock had fallen below $1.00 for 30 consecutive trading
days and that it was therefore not in compliance with NASDAQ Listing Rule 5550(a)(2),
formerly Marketplace Rule 4310(c)(4). The Company was given a period of
time to regain compliance with NASDAQ s listing rules.
