Annual Meeting of its Shareholders
London, February 20,
2024 - Akanda Corp. ("Akanda" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: AKAN), an
international medical cannabis company, today announces that it has received an order from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice
(the "Court") permitting Akanda to hold its annual meeting of shareholders (the "Meeting") on or
before March 23, 2024, pursuant to an application to the Court previously announced by the Company on February 20, 2024. Prior to
the order from the Court, the Company would have had to hold the Meeting on or before February 22, 2024.
