The 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine is used to prevent pneumococcal infections, including invasive pneumococcal disease. It is being studied in adults, infants, children, and Japanese subjects aged 6 to 64 years. The vaccine is developed by Pfizer, Inc. (PFE) and is currently in Phase 3 clinical development.
Pfizer, Inc. (PFE) develops the 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine. The company is conducting clinical trials of the vaccine across multiple countries, including the United States, South Korea, Iceland, and Japan.
The 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine is in Phase 3 clinical development. It has completed nine trials with a total enrollment of 8,452 participants. The vaccine is investigational and not yet approved for use.
The 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine has completed several trials, including NCT00427895 comparing it with a 23-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine in adults, NCT00689351 in Korean infants, NCT00853749 in children revaccinated in Iceland, and NCT03571607 in Japanese subjects aged 6 to 64 years.
The 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine is developed by Pfizer, Inc. and is commonly known as Prevnar 13. It is designed to protect against 13 serotypes of Streptococcus pneumoniae bacteria.
